Welcome to the Bug Hotel, where every bug can be snug. . . and celebrate the wonder of transformation!

The Bug Hotel should be a haven for bugs. It is visited by every manner of critter imaginable—bees, beetles, centipedes, woodlice, cicadas, moths, ants, ladybirds and many more. But the owner of the hotel, Mr. Beetle, is a rather grumpy and solemn character, and he insists that every guest follow his strict Book of Rules.

Molly the moth dreams of stargazing, and Billie the bee would like to make honey for the other guests—but the Book of Rules forbids their fun.

When the guests finally challenge Mr. Beetle, he becomes so upset by the thought of change that he runs off, leaving the hotel in disarray. Can the bugs find their missing host and show him that life is about more than just following rules?
