Marie-Laure Pham-Bouwens lives in New York. She describes herself as an architect first, a mum of two and a craft-loving, Do-It-Yourself kind of girl. Steffi e Brocoli is a young and bubbly illustrator based in Paris. She graduated from the prestigious Ecole Estienne where she studied graphic design and engraving.

I was born in 1989 in Clermont-Ferrand. I arrived in Paris in 2008 to study graphic design at the Estienne school, then engraving. I graduated in 2012. Today, I live and work in Bagnolet. My projects are varied: I draw for the youth edition, I self-publish posters, I collaborate with brands and I imagine workshops. I do painting, wall tapestry, carpets for the floor
and sometimes ceramics. I am passionate about artisanal manufacturing techniques. My projects are all pretexts for experimentation. I like to try new tools and new materials to make unique pieces for the home or for exhibitions. I like to acquire the basics of know-how in order to emancipate myself from it to create freely. I like to observe the impact of a tool, a material and the hand on the final result and I delight in the charming little imperfections inherent in manual production.
